Bollywood is one of the most famous entertainment industries in the world that has its very own loyal followers from all around the globe.
Love triangles and star-crossed lovers are often the go-to plot of many of these films, which are of course interlaced with the compulsory upbeat dance numbers typical of Bollywood.
The quality and standard of Bollywood films have only been getting better over the years, to the point where they now can be considered on par with Hollywood productions. Films such as "Slumdog Millionaire", "My Name is Khan" and "3 Idiots" are a few that have become worldwide box office hits and gained global recognition.
Even throughout this year, there are certain Bollywood films that have the potential to become blockbuster hits.

Salman Khan shows he still has what it takes to be one of Bollywood's crème de la crème. Khan once again steals the spotlight as the main star in this film directed by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Mithun Chakraborty, this film is a remake of 2009's "Kick", which tells the story of a man who lives an abnormal life.
Always looking for a challenge in everything that he does, and never quite reaching satisfaction, the man in winds up as a robber.
A film by one of Bollywood's best directors, Rohit Shetty returns with a sequel to his 2011's "Singham". The sequel stars some of Bollywood's biggest names such as Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Dayanand Shetty and Anupam Kher.
Ajay, husband of actress Kajol, plays the role of Bajirao Singham, who returns to Mumbai as the Deputy Commissioner of Police.
Conflict arises when Singham tries to defeat the bigwigs involved in a bribery case among the political leaders in India. In order to triumph, Singham has to go through many trials and challenges in the name of protecting the peace and banishing the evils.
A remake of Hollywood's 2010 hit, "Knight and Day", a film that stars A-listers Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. In the Bollywood version, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif work hand in hand as the lead roles.
Playing to the themes of action and comedy, this film tells the story of a woman trapped in a whirlwind of an adventure with an agent that has been framed and is trying to clear his name. After spending a significant amount of time with the agent, the woman starts falling for him.
"Bang Bang!", directed by renowned director Siddharth Anand, was released in cinemas on 2 October 2014 and is currently the highest grossing Bollywood film in U.S. for 2014.
Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty
The year of 2014 also sees the arrival of an action film that has two great actors leading it, namely Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.
A reproduction of a 2012 Tamil film entitled "Thuppakki", it follows a young soldier by the name of Virat, who returns to his hometown in Mumbai to be betrothed to Nisa, the young woman his parents have chosen for him to marry.
However, his sabbatical is marred when a bomb exploded on a bus he happened to be riding on, and he becomes determined to find out the culprit behind the explosion.
Continuing with the action theme, this Hindi film by Sohail Khan tells the story of a man named Jai, an ex-army trying to battle the bribing issues and immorality happening among the higher ups.
