Solekan natural kini lebih menjadi tumpuan golongan wanita, termasuk selebriti!
What happens when you watch your significant other murder you in a video recording?

From haunted houses, serial killers, to cursed dolls, we've seen it all when it comes to the horror genre, that's why it is such a breath of fresh air when a unique story with a unique setting comes about.

"Death of Me" by Darren Lynn Bousman stars the pairing of Luke Hemsworth and Maggie Q, who are both well-known names but have never been given the chance to front a film, until now that is.

Come this 15 October, we'll be looking forward to visiting the cinemas to watch "Death of Me", but we thought we'd tell you why you should watch it too!

Set in Thailand

Set on an island in Thailand, the story starts with the couple waking up from a terrible hangover, only to realise that the rest of their day isn't going to be anything like "The Hangover". Expect to see the beauty of a remote Thai island and even a rural Thai community that plays an integral part to the story.

A unique horror plot

Christine (Maggie Q) and Neil (Luke Hemsworth) are a couple who are vacationing on a remote island in Thailand. After a night of partying, they try to leave their villa in the morning in a hurry after finding it covered with dirt and blood. Only on the ferry do they realise that they can't leave and have to head back to the island where they find a mysterious recorded footage on Neil's digital camera showing him killing her. What's puzzling is that Christine is still alive and they both have no recollection of the event. Hallucinations then begin to plague them as they try to make sense of the recording.

See another side of Maggie Q

In a recent media interview, Maggie Q revealed that she does not watch horror movies at all. After watching "The Exorcist" when she was younger, she never delved into the genre ever again. Having carved a name for herself as an American-Vietnamese action star, she is well-known for her roles in "Gen-Y Cops", "Rush Hour 2", "Divergent" and her leading role in "Nikita", however now Maggie is looking to diversify the genres she works in.

A Hemsworth brother is in it

He may be the least popular of all the Hemsworth brothers, Chris and Liam, however this older Hemsworth sibling has been slowly making a name for himself on the small screen through HBO's sci-fi series "Westworld". He will next be seen in the Australian war film, "The 34th Battalion".

From "Saw" franchise director

Darren Lynn Bousman is no stranger to horror films. Having directed "Saw II", "Saw III" and "Saw IV", Bousman also directed the 2011 horror flick "11-11-11" and had headed back to direct another "Saw" movie, "Spiral" starring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson which was supposed to release this year, but had since been delayed to May 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
