25 May – Although he was originally set to star alongside Jackie Chan in the upcoming Sino-Bollywood movie, "Kung Fu Yoga", it was revealed that Bollywood star Aamir Khan has withdrawn from the production, DNA India reported.

The "3 Idiots" actor recently confirmed that he has decided to leave the project as he was certain that he will not be able to fit the film in his schedule.

Aamir is currently prepping up for his new movie, "Dangal", and has to bulk up his body for the role.

Aamir stated that he has to play two different characters in the film, and will not be able to join "Kung Fu Yoga" filming that will begin in September.

The actor stated that he will be busy filming until next year and will only be free for another project in August 2016.

"I can't let them wait that long when they are ready to start," he said.

No news yet on who will replace Aamir. Previously, it was reported that Saif Ali Khan has not shown much interest in the project when he was approached to star in it.
