Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt set to co-star in "Passengers".

9 Feb – "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt is set to fly back into space, and this time "The Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence is coming along for the ride.

The two stars are in early talks to lead "The Imitation Game" director Morten Tyldum's sci-fi romance "Passengers", Variety reports.

The script is penned by "Prometheus" writer Jon Spaihts and has been around for quite some time, just waiting for the right actors to fill in the leading roles. Keanu Reeves was one of the leading men previously rumoured to headline the movie, with Reese Witherspoon or Rachel McAdams to star opposite.

Now it seems that Pratt and Lawrence are the ones who finally snagged the roles. If the deals come through, Pratt will be starring as a passenger aboard a spacecraft in the future, who wakes up from his cryogenic sleep of 90 years before any of the other thousands of passengers. Romance blooms when he decides to wake up a female passenger, which would be played by Lawrence.

Pratt's star presence skyrocketed after his role as Peter Quill a.k.a. Star Lord in "Guardians of the Galaxy" last year, while Lawrence made her third return as Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1".
