Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis starred in the 2000 superhero movie, "Unbreakable"

1 Feb – Fifteen years since the movie "Unbreakable" was released, director M. Night Shyamalan revealed that he's still interested in making a sequel for the superhero film.

"Unbreakable" lead star Bruce Willis told MTV's Josh Horowitz that Shyamalan did talk to him about the continuation of the 2000 movie over the holidays last year, and is still thinking about making a sequel.

Collider has also reported that Shyamalan mentioned that he did think about it sometimes.

"I love those characters and I love that world. Of course, the whole world makes comic book movies now. At the time, it was completely novel."

Shyamalan also mentioned that if he is to make a sequel for the movie, his vision for "Unbreakable 2" might not be exactly like other modern comic book movies. "The beauty of the world of "Unbreakable" is that you're playing it for reality. It should never feel like a comic book movie," he said.

According to Box Office Mojo, "Unbreakable" had made USD95 million in North America and USD153 million internationally, making a profit way above its USD75 million production budget.
