31 Jan – "La La Land" is one unstoppable movie this year. Right after setting a new record at this year's Golden Globes, it went on to garner the highest nominations at the Oscars since James Cameron's 1997 "Titanic", and now it has gained itself another win.
Lead actress Emma Stone was the recipient of the Best Actress award at the recently concluded SAG Awards 2017.
The "La La Land" star was so overwhelmed by her win, she even admitted she felt like fainting during her speech. Stone collected herself enough to finally end her speech with "I'm so grateful to be part of a group of people that cares and wants to reflect things back to society. So thank you."
Under the movie category, the biggest winner title goes to "Fences". Two of its stars, Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, won Best Male Actor and Best Female Supporting Actor, respectively.
