Watch this if you liked: "Miss Congeniality", "Naked Weapon"

Previously known as "Love Undercover 4", this movie is about a policewoman who goes undercover as a beauty pageant contestant to protect the daughter of a key witness. Sound familiar? Anyone can tell you that this is the formula most famously used in Sandra Bullock's "Miss Congeniality" in 2000 and also the 2005 sequel. However, that's pretty much where the similarity ends because here the Hong Kong stars have their own fun in this Wong Jing picture and manage to make it much funnier than the Hollywood original!

Yes, the HK schlockmeister and his particular brand of slapstick works as well as you can expect it to. The well-paced plot together with some action scenes are an attractive package that will definitely go down as a crowd-pleaser.

The merry cast of the "Beauty On Duty" comprises of recognised actors and performers like Sandra Ng, Lam Suet, Benz Hui, Charlene Choi, Tat-Ming Cheong, Sammy Leung and many more. A particularly entertaining aspect of the movie is Charlene Choi's character, who is always at odds with her father (played by Benz Hui) who wants his daughter to marry a rich man.

All in all, these days where erotic thrillers are uncommon, a slightly naughty title from Wong Jing will sit in just fine with audiences. Just look at the poster!
