Watch this if you liked: “All’s Well End’s Well” series

The popular Hong Kong comedic series, "All'sWell End's Well 2012", by directors Chan Hing Ka and Janet Chun returns for its sixth instalment packed with even more induced foot-stomping laughter by an ensemble cast that includes popular Hong Kong stars Raymond Wong, Donnie Yen, Louis Koo, Chapman To, Sandra Ng, Kelly Chen, Lynn Xiong, Foxy Yang, to name a few.

"All's Well End's Well 2012" features web programmer Maximilian who started a support website for women in need to seek help. This led to a lot of random guys logging on to the website in an effort to help, but ends up grateful that they found the website as the help that they can offer were equally helpful to them as well, both in life and in love.

To get the gist of the movie, here is an example: one of the few men that signed up for the women in need program on the web is unqualified father, lawyer Richard (Raymond Wong), who is hated by his own daughter. As it turns out, the help that the website needed from him is to be a father in disguise for Cecilia (Yang Mi), and help her find a good husband in a month's time. In the same vein, Richard's help led to his understanding of how a daughter feels, and resulted in him being a better and more caring father.

"All's Well End's Well 2012" managed to successfully reflect the importance of love, happiness and bond between family and friends. In addition, it educates viewers about how important it is to posses love, happiness and a strong familial bond, be it with a lover, family or even a stranger.

From the cinematography aspect, I personally felt that the movie managed to pull off a very satisfying experience, as the fast-paced editing contributed to much of the humour. For those who are familiar with comedy movies, you would know that comedy mostly works when a statement is made and then a scene contradicting it is shown. The casts' acting may not have been award-winning, but they played their roles in a way where it is easy for the audience to understand what is happening. However, the same cannot be said for the special effects as they are almost non-existent.

In conclusion, "All's Well End's Well 2012" is a must-watch for those who have watched all the previous instalments, because in spite of being a rehashed product, the directors have managed to keep the story interesting and fresh by placing it in a different setting. It does not matter if you are watching it with your family, friends or loved ones, this movie will definitely make you laugh yourself to tears.
