The Good, the Bad and the Music

• The film surprisingly exceeds the expectations of many loyal fans from the original musical and the 1982 film.

• Young actress, Quvenzhane Wallis' performance as Annie is just as good as Aileen Quinn from the1982 version.

• The modern rendition of the song and plot appropriately caters towards the younger generation of today.

Trivia

• Originally, Will Smith envisioned this film to be a star vehicle for his daughter Willow Smith. However, she had to drop out because she was too old to play Annie.
