The Good, the Bad and the Talking Teddy:

• The first movie may have been a critical and commercial success but director Seth MacFarlane (also the voice of the titular talking bear) should've stopped while he was ahead, as the second movie makes it clear that the novelty of watching a stuffed bear come to life and start spewing out filthy language has definitely worn off (it's a gimmick cow that cannot be milked twice).

• The jokes in the first movie weren't exceptional but with most of them being spewed out of a somewhat adorable-looking bear, they were bearable (not sorry). Now, not only has that novelty worn off (see point above), the jokes are also more crude and tasteless this time around. Mean, homophobic and racist jokes can only go so far.

• The cast performance is nothing outstanding, especially since there isn't much to flesh out from the script.

Trivia:

• Mila Kunis could not reprise her role as John's girlfriend Lori as she was pregnant with her baby with partner Ashton Kutcher.
