Watch this if you liked: “National Lampoon's Vacation” film series

The Good, the Bad and the Horrible Holiday:

• Fans of the old series will find the film nostalgic as the Griswold kids are all grown up now.

• However, those who didn't watch the previous series might not understand some of the references and throwbacks to the older movies.

• The film did a great job at honouring the original film as it makes use of a few gags and incidents from the 1980s classic, but also adds in its own twists.

• The film would make the audience feel like taking their children on a vacation right away, but not to the movie unless the kids are 18 and above.

Trivia:

• The film has the same release date in the U.S. as the first movie, 1983's "National Lampoon's Vacation", which is 29 July.
