Watch this if you liked: “Young Sherlock Holmes”

The Good, the Bad and the Aged Detective:

• A beautiful, subtle and easy-going classic film with modern-day flair, surrounding Sherlock Holmes' last case.

• The pace of the first-half of the film starts off a bit slow due to the fact that Holmes is already an old man in his 90s, but the second-half manages to catch up real quick as the mysteries begin to unravel and connect with each other.

• The film is simply refreshing and lovely that acts as a tribute to old veteran geniuses.

• Sir Ian McKellen is a real entertainer who perfectly captures the nuances of an aged person while maintaining the titular character.

Trivia:

• Nicholas Rowe, who plays the Matinee Sherlock, had previously played the title character in the 1985 film, "Young Sherlock Holmes".
