Writer Ratings:

Watch this if you liked: "Candyman", "The Babadook"

The Good, the Bad and the Unspeakable Name:

• If you mention or think about his name, he will come to get you - basically, this is the plot of the movie, which kinds of gives off "The Babadook" vibe.

• As interesting as the premise may be, the story lacks explanations and reasoning, making you wonder throughout the film, but you will never get an answer.

• The movie occasionally has some successful jump scares, but it doesn't drive the story.

• The acting is mediocre at best and there's no development in the characters, and the production values of the movie are certainly not the best kind.

• Despite all the flaws, the biggest problem of the movie is that it provides no explanation to the root of the problems, leaving everything hanging, and ends it with a blatant tease for a potential sequel which most probably will not happen.
