The Good, the Bad and the Pressures of War:

• The movie certainly has its own appeal but it also lacks a few punches in some parts such as the credibility of the places, the insufficiency of momentum, and the flimsy direction.

• Kudos to the special effects and also the cinematography department who seamlessly blended reality with effects, creating stunning visuals and picturesque landscapes.

• Marion Cotillard is stellar in her role and the same can be applied for Brad Pitt, however, their scenes together fail to ignite even a glimmer of a spark.

• Marion Cotillard taught Brad Pitt how to speak French for several of the dialogues in the film.
