The Good, the Bad and the Giant Monster:

• Despite having tons of films about the giant monster, this Godzilla certainly lives up to its name and film title - Shin, which stands for true, new and God.

• The first Godzilla movie from 1954 was a huge success that they had 30 more films of the same monster, but this movie which is the reboot of the original film, stays true to its original theme and spirit, but with events taking place in a contemporary society.

• The portrayal of the whole movie is quite realistic as it shows what goes on in the government when an unprecedented crisis hits the nation.

• Overall, the film is more than just about a monster terrorising the city, it is about how the people, the government, and the politicians, deal with the situation.

Trivia:

• This is the 30th Godzilla film.
