The Good, the Bad and the Organ Transplant:

• Even though Sean Lau and Nicholas Tse were amazing in "The Bullet Vanishes", their chemistry and performances in Ken Wu's "Heartfall Arises" are far from good.

• The thriller has an absurd yet interesting premise which is not strange in Hong Kong films, because it is up to the director and cast to convince and overshadow the absurdity through their execution.

• However, the movie fails to do so thus making the preposterousness in the film becomes even more obvious.

• The movie is badly written, directed and edited, and the visual looks cheap and tacky.

• Many of the events happen so conveniently at right time and at the right moment which is cliched and annoying, and the surprises are a bit too typical as well.
