The Wolf's Call

The movie is set in the near future, in a French submarine that has landed in a crisis situation and the crew onboard, which includes Commandant Grandchamp, second-in-command D`Orsi, and acoustic analyst and sonar detection specialist Chanteraide, will have to find a way to extricate themselves from the crisis efficiently. Chanteraide, despite being the submarine`s "golden ear", who can detect and classify any sound due to a particular training, is unable to identify a certain sound he hears during the operation and his obsession with it results in his temporary suspension. He decides to defy his superiors and begins investigating on his own. This ends up with him inadvertently getting involved in a plan that might push the world to the brink of apocalypse.
