Unteachable

A documentary that provides insights into teen students` learning journey over a 4-year school period through to their graduation. It focuses on Teacher Meixi who is trying out a novel teaching method from Mexico called Tutorial Relationships. Using this method, the students in her Singaporean classroom become the teachers. Damian, like his classmates, finds this different from what they`re used to but is adapting well to it as he takes ownership of his learning as well as helps his classmates with theirs. This also gives the students a chance to discover the challenges that their teachers face but this teaching method eventually leaves Teacher Meixi struggling to find her place in the local system, as it is met with resistance after a few months of her introducing it to her class.
