The King Of Staten Island

This semi-autobiographical comedy-drama tells of Pete Davidson`s life growing up in Staten Island after losing his father during 9/11. It also follows his journey into the world of stand-up comedy. In the movie, Davidson stars as Scott, whose firefighter father died when he was seven. He has been a case of arrested development ever since. Now in his mid-20s, he spends his time smoking weed with his friends and hooking up with his childhood friend, while his younger sister has already head off to college. It is only when his mother begins dating a loudmouth firefighter that Scott is forced to deal with his grief and start moving on with his life.
