A Son

During summer 2011 in southern Tunisia, Fares and his wife Meriem and 10-year-old son Aziz are enjoying their family vacation when they accidentally drive past an exchange of fire by militants. A stray bullet hits Aziz, leading to him needing a liver transplant. This unearths the discovery of a long-buried secret. As his wealthy parents, who are unable to donate their organs to him, desperately search for an organ donor, they end up resorting to grim ways to save their son, even if it means getting a new liver illegally.
