The movie tells of Marie Curie`s enduring legacies, which include her scientific breakthroughs and the consequences on her and the world. After marrying fellow scientist Pierre Curie, the two of them discover radioactivity, changing the world of science forever. Their discovery leads to them winning the Nobel Prize and receiving international recognition.
