Corpus Christi

While serving his sentence for second degree murder in a youth detention centre, 20-year-old Daniel has a spiritual awakening. Even though his criminal background prevents him from becoming a priest, he gets his chance when, after his release, he goes to a small town and gets mistaken as a priest upon his arrival. He is supposed to be working at a carpenter`s workshop there but after accidentally taking over the local parish, he continues pretending to be a priest. As he helps the local community heal following a tragedy, his past begins to catch up with him.
