Which of these are you going to watch?

Winter is over in Westeros and summer is here in cinemas. Anyone who has finally came over the cold finale of Game of Thrones can now enjoy some sunshine that will be coming to cinemas this June.

Kickstarting the summer season are some major blockbusters of the year, with a few minor ones that could warm our hearts. While the best of superhero season is pretty much over (unless you're still wanting to watch "Endgame" for the 15th time), it's time to take your summer adventures elsewhere in some different genres.

A decade after stopping Apocalypse in "X-Men: Apocalypse", the X-Men are sent on a dangerous mission in space. When they are hit by a solar flare, Jean Grey begins to lose control of her powers and also her personality as a powerful entity slows takes over her. In the alternate timeline of the 7th X-Men movie, the series has once again come full circle, revisiting the Dark Phoenix storyline as it did in "X-Men: The Last Stand". This time attempting to stay more faithful to the source material with Sophie Turner unleashing her powers as the Dark Phoenix, the new X-Men led by James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Evan Peters, and Kodi Smit-McPhee would be returning to reprise as their respective mutants, with Jessica Chastain appearing as the powerful Phoenix. Screenwriter Simon Kinberg, who wrote for the series since "X-Men: Days of Future Past" until "Dark Phoenix", would be making his directorial debut to end this alternate trilogy.

After successfully pulling a kidnap-ransom scheme on two of Hong Kong's business royalties, the police forces in Hong Kong are trying to snare the kidnappers for their next target. Sky, who was infiltrated the gang for years and believes he has the trust of the mastermind, reports back that the gang is ready for their next target. But is this operation real or a test? While a sequel to 2017's "Chasing the Dragon", this would be a new story with an entire new cast and characters. Directors Wong Jin and Jason Kwan return to drive this white-knuckled thriller of mind games between the law and criminals, this time getting acting veterans Tony Leung, Louis Khoo, and Gordon Lam, with a special appearance by Simon Yam, to star in the cast.

Happening alongside the Men In Black we have come to know in America, the London team dispatches two agents to investigate a series of alien attacks that sends them traveling around the globe. After a rather cold reception to the third installment of the "Men In Black" in 2012, the series might need to take a little spin around the world to find some fresh talents in saving the world. After their many adventures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will be fighting aliens as secret agents for the Men in Black, under the orders of Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson. "Straight Outta Compton" director F. Gary Gray will be taking the wheel on this extraterrestrial adventure, with the voices of Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Nanjiani and Rafe Spall.

Solo female action movies seem to be making a comeback with a vengeance, after a slew of them starring some of the most demanded female actors were released in recent years. If you think the train has lost its steam, then this summer is about putting the fire back into this special subgenre. Not giving us the sequel to 2014's "Lucy", Luc Besson is introducing us to another femme fatale in the form of Sasha Luss as the titular character. If we had any doubts that this could be a difficult movie for one unknown actress to carry, we are glad that she will be supported by Helen Mirren, Luke Evans and Cillian Murphy to see what she is capable of.

After being given away to a new owner, Woody, Buzz and the toys are introduced to a new toy that she made in arts and craft class from a plastic spork. While helping Forky get a handle of his existential crisis as a toy, Woody and Forky are thrown off the car while the family is on a road trip. Announced back in 2014, this first co-production under the Pixar and the Walt Disney Animation Studios banner have suffered a little turbulence with the departure of the original writers and John Lasseter from recent events. Still, Disney still looks toward starting a new trilogy with our favourite toys be voiced by the same cast nearly a decade ago (except for Mr. Potato Head). Also joining the crew for the first time are Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Keanu Reeves and Christina Hendricks.

After suffering from a freak accident, a struggling singer wakes up to find himself in an alternate world where the Beatles did not exist. Building an entire career out of their greatest hits, the singer has to decide if he wants to stay in this world, or go back to the love of his life. 2018 was the year we celebrated the music of Queen, and until "Rocketman" lands (if it does) here, 2019 will be the year we will be singing along to the Beatles. This British collaboration with writing done by Richard Curtis and directed by Danny Boyle can only get better by having Lily James, James Corden, Ed Sheeran, and Kate McKinnon in the cast, while introducing Himesh Patel in his feature debut.
