"Into the Woods" is a musical fantasy film based on a Broadway musical by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim, which has won and was nominated for several awards including the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Laurence Olivier Award.

Starring the likes of Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Johnny Depp, the movie tells the story of a Baker and his Wife cursed barren by a Witch. The two venture into the woods in search for a way to break the curse. Once they enter, they find themselves transported into an enchanted and magical world filled with fairy tale characters come to life.

Set to hit the cinemas in North America during Christmas this year, it will, however, only be released in Malaysian cinemas come 15 January 2015.
