Journey "Into the Woods"

"Into the Woods" is a musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures starring an ensemble cast featuring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Lilla Crawford, Daniel Huttlestone, Tracey Ullman, Christine Baranski, Mackenzie Mauzy, Billy Magnussen, and Johnny Depp.

The film is based on a Broadway musical by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim which won and was nominated for several awards including the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Laurence Olivier Award. What's cool about this film is that it features various characters from the Grimm Brothers' fairytale stories with intertwining plots and modern twists.

"Into The Woods" follows a Baker and his Wife who have been cursed childless by a witch, which then leads the two on a journey into the woods to find ways to break the curse. Along the journey, they encounter the main characters from "Little Red Riding Hood", "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Rapunzel", and "Cinderella", along with several other fairytale characters.

"Into the Woods" will only hit the cinemas in Malaysia on 15 January 2015 but will be released in North America during Christmas this year.
