A closer look at "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"

With the mounting anticipation for the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", fans are no doubt ecstatic to be treated to several new photos of the movie.

Released by Entertainment Weekly, the photos provide a more detailed look on the J. J. Abrams-directed movie, which features talents such as John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, to name a few.

The movie is a continuation of the saga first created by George Lucas, set 30 years after the events in "Return Of The Jedi" where Darth Vader had been defeated.

Before it rises in cinemas on 17 December 2015, let's take a look at this new batch of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" photos:
