"The Martian" has landed in new photos

Several new photos of Ridley Scott's upcoming sci-fi movie "The Martian" were recently released, featuring the lead actor Matt Damon.

Damon plays astronaut Mark Watney, who is one of the crew members on a manned mission to Mars. When he is mistakenly presumed to be dead and gets left behind, he finds himself all alone scrambling to survive on the red planet and to ultimately search for a way back home.

"The Martian" lands in cinemas on 1 October 2015.
