Top 10 Anton Yelchin characters

Gone too soon. The movie world was taken by surprise this morning with the sudden passing of Hollywood actor, Anton Yelchin.

What's especially tragic is that the promising young actor was only 27-years-old.

Despite his young age, the actor has had an extensive list of movies under his belt and he was definitely on everyone's watch list as one of actors to look out for as he made his way into the big league, especially with his role in the "Star Trek" movies that further propelled him to audiences far and wide.

As we await one of his final roles in this year's "Star Trek Beyond" (21 July 2016), we look back at his top 10 best characters which he brought to the big screen.


In the remake of "Fright Night", Yelchin had to get his hero on
as Charley to save his girlfriend from his vampire neighbour played by Colin Farrell.


Playing the titular character in 2013's "Odd Thomas",
Yelchin made the supernatural Dean Koontz thriller come to life with his quirkiness.

In the 2009 "Star Trek" film, Yelchin played Pavel Chekov, a child prodigy with mathematical abilities.
He also returned to the role in 2013's "Star Trek Into Darkness" and will be seen in "Star Trek Beyond" this year.
