New "X-Men: Apocalypse" posters feature the Four Horsemen

A series of newly released character posters for "X-Men: Apocalypse" by 20th Century Fox gives audiences a look at each of the Four Horsemen.

Magneto, Angel, Storm and Psylocke pose in his or her own poster, as seen below.

Set to be the final movie in the "X-Men" trilogy, which kicked off with 2011's "X-Men: First Class" and followed by 2014's "X-Men: Days of Future Past", "X-Men: Apocalypse" follows the titular team of mutant superheroes as they face a new enemy by the name of Apocalypse, an ancient and powerful mutant whose roots trace back to old Egypt.

Directed by Bryan Singer, the movie also stars James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), Lucas Till (Havok), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Lana Condor (Jubilee) and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse).

"X-Men: Apocalypse" arrives in cinemas on 19 May 2016.

Alexandra Shipp plays Storm.

Olivia Munn is Psylocke.
