"Hellboy" and "Journey" opens


"Err… can we get out of here before Batman comes next week?" – a scene from "Journey To The Center Of The Earth"
12 Jul – "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" and "Journey To The Center Of The Earth" are the widest releases this weekend, with either one poised to take over the box office helm from Will Smith's superhero spoof "Hancock".

It is also an interesting weekend in terms of novelty, as audiences at GSC Mid Valley and TGV outlets in Sunway and KLCC will get to put on special glasses to catch "Journey To The Center Of The Earth 3D", a first in the country in terms of digital 3D projection. Too bad "War Of The Dragons" does not come in similar spectacular fashion, as it arrives at some 40 screens nationwide after going through much delay, title renaming and various other problems.

Other releases this weekend include Tamil picture "Aayudham Seivom" and futuristic Hindi special "Love Story 2050".
