Cooper drops "The Crow"

19 Aug – Recent reports reveal that "The Hangover" star Bradley Cooper has dropped out of Relativity Media's remake of "The Crow", leaving Mark Wahlberg and Channing Tatum now in talks for replacing him, according to a report on The Wrap's website.

Will Mark Wahlberg or Channing Tatum succeed the late Brandon Lee in "The Crow"?

The supernatural action project which is based on the 1990s comic had Juan Carlos Fresnadillo set to direct when Cooper who was attached as the title character, dropped out due to scheduling conflicts for another upcoming supernatural film "Paradise Lost".

The original film, "The Crow", centred on a musician who is murdered while trying to save his fiancée from thugs. He is brought back from the dead by supernatural forces and seeks revenge. The role was originally played by Brandon Lee the son Bruce Lee, who was killed by a freak accident during production of the original movie in 1993.

Despite Brandon's tragic death, the film was a success spawning sequels as well as a cult classic status, while the Goth look he sported in the film became one of the late actors signature look for which he is remembered till today by his fans.
