16 May – "Thor" continues its thunderous reign at the box office over the weekend just one (May12-15) with an easy repeat win, while Sony's debutant "Priest" did not perform well due to "a muddled marketing campaign that emphasised its cult graphic novel source material while failing to illuminate any sort of compelling story," according to online tracker Box Office Mojo. In Singapore, "Fast And Furious 5" topped the box office for the second week running, ahead of "Priest" and "Thor", according to the Cinematograph Film Exhibitors Association. There is a strong showing for the bravely titled Malaysian action-comedy "Kongsi: Lu Langsi Lu Mati" under the distribution of Metrowealth, which reportedly grossed in excess of RM1 million on its opening day in Malaysia according to producer David Teo. The movie is No.1 at the Malaysian box office ahead of the Hollywood competition. Outspoken producer Teo earlier made known of a target for RM10 million box office returns with a total of 100 prints across Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam.
