31 Mar – "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" director Marc Webb has been using micro media site Twitter to unveil little clues and details about the anticipated sequel itself, with the most recent unveiling being "The Office" star BJ Novak joining the cast. Webb tweeted the image of a dark and conspiring looking BJ Novak in glasses and a suit with the words, "A supposed rumour about a Dunder-Mifflin takeover at Oscorp?" With Webb's obvious reference to "The Office" with the mention of Dunder-Mifflin, we are certain that Novak will indeed play a role, but the kind of role he will play is still unconfirmed.
BJ Novak, having just wrapped up filming for the finale of long running comedy series "The Office", last appeared in film as a Jewish soldier with Brad Pitt's Aldo Raine in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds". He will next appear in the movie "The Internship" out mid-year. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" also stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field, Dane DeHaan and Chris Cooper. The film will be out in theatres in 2014.
