Paul Rudd to play the next Marvel superhero!

19 Dec – While it has already been known since early this year at the San Diego Comic-Con that Marvel's "Ant-Man" will become another origin-based feature film, with "The World's End" and "Scott Pilgrim" maker Edgar Wright to direct but there has had been many speculations on who would be starring as the lead hero.

There had also been some test footage from the Comic-Con leaked online back in March, but it has now been wiped out forever and the only remains left are a few screencaps.

With actors Paul Rudd and Joseph Gordon Levitt both confirmed to be in talks with Marvel about playing Hank Pym (Ant-Man), it has recently been announced that Rudd would take on the role!

Director Edgar Wright reportedly wanted to cast an actor with an ability to throw a few jokes out on a whim, and Paul Rudd definitely fits into the description!

In the comics, the character's alter-ego, Henry Pym, a brilliant scientist who invented a substance that allowed him to change his size and communicate with insects. Historically, Pym has always been the creator of the entity known as Ultron, which we can probably guess that the hero could be joining the other Avengers for "Age of Ultron" in 2015.

"Ant-Man" is aiming for a release on July 2015.
