Tatum wants a "Bad Romance"

Channing Tatum to join a "Bad Romance"

4 Nov – Even though the movie title is just like the pop star's famous song title, Channing Tatum, who is in early talks to star in a movie titled "Bad Romance" will not be dressing up as Lady Gaga any time soon.

The "Magic Mike" actor is in early talks to star in and produce "Bad Romance", the next film from "50/50" creator Jonathan Levine. Though no deal is yet in place, it's likely that one will come together.

No information about "Bad Romance" has been released yet, since The Hollywood Reporter only brings word that Tatum is looking to get involved as the star and that he'll also be producing the film with Iron Horse Entertainment partner Reid Carolin.

Channing Tatum's "Bad Romance" will probably not be a film version of Lady Gaga's version.

Jonathan Levine will write the script as well as direct the film. Levine also wrote and directed "Warm Bodies", starring Nicolas Hoult released earlier this year. "Bad Romance" will be the director's next project after this year's releases of the previously mentioned "Warm Bodies" as well as "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane".

He's attached to several films, including "Jamaica" and "Little Girl Lost".

Tatum, on the other hand, is developing a film about stuntman Evel Knievel and has been pondering a sequel to "Magic Mike". He's at work right now on comedy sequel "22 Jump Street" and will show up in "Foxcatcher", "Jupiter Ascending", "Book Of Life" and "The Lego Movie".
