13 Oct – Marvel Entertainment has confirmed that the official full-sized replica of dancing baby Groot from their box office film, "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be coming to U.S. stores this coming Christmas, as reported by Mashable. Since the release of "Guardians of the Galaxy", we have seen a number of fan-made baby Groot toys such as the Funko POP! version, the cupcake version, the Patrick Delahanty version and the Smart Apple Creations version, but this time, fans will be able to get their hands on the officially licensed baby Groot produced by Marvel though their partnership with KIDdesigns. The toy is described as a dancing plant complete with a tiny pot that plays an electronic version of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" from its built-in speaker. It has a price tag of USD14.99. The baby Groot is expected to hit the U.S. market this coming December, so let's hope that it will be heading to Malaysia and Singapore stores as well since toy retailer, Toys 'R' Us, is currently in stock of the Rocket Raccoon figurine and other "Guardians Of The Galaxy" merchandise!
