"Furious 7" to release trailer soon


"Furious 7" releasing trailer in November.

27 Oct – The seventh instalment in the "Fast and Furious" franchise finally gets its official title, and now it is simply called "Furious 7".

The trailer will be revealed at The Road to Furious 7: Trailer Launch Event at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, IGN reports, which will be taking place on 1 November 2014.

Fans who are not be able to catch the event in person will still have the opportunity to watch it via live steam on the Fast & Furious official Facebook page.

"Furious 7" picks up after the events of "Fast And Furious 6". This time around Owen Shaw's brother, Ian Shaw, is up against Dominic Toretto and his crew after they helped take down Owen. However, there is more in play than just Ian Shaw's vengeance, and Dominic Toretto and his crew are about to find out what is coming.

Malaysian-born Australian director James Wan, of "Saw" and "The Conjuring" fame, helms the project while Chris Morgan pens the script.

The movie's release is pushed back a year when its star Paul Walker passed away in a tragic car accident. Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody stepped in to help bring the movie to completion, by acting as their late brother's body doubles.

Also starring in the upcoming movie are Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Lucas Black, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, and Tyrese Gibson. Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou, Ronda Rousey and Tony Jaa will be joining the franchise for the first time.

"Furious 7" opens in cinemas April 2015.
