Alfonso Cuaron and David Heyman, the biggest winners for their film "Gravity".

18 Feb - "Gravity" and "12 Years a Slave" have both carved up a sizeable chunk of the BAFTA award categories between them, with "12 Years a Slave" winning two big awards – best film and leading actor for Chiwetel Ejiofor, and "Gravity" winning the night with six out of its 11 nominations.

The "Gravity" wins included outstanding British film, director (Alfonso Cuarón) and cinematographer (Emanuel Lubezki), and a BAFTA for its brilliant special visual effects team.

The Supporting Actor awards went to Jennifer Lawrence for "American Hustle", beating "12 Years A Slave's" Lupita Nyong'o, and in a surprise win, Barkhad Abdi for Paul Greengrass'' "Captain Phillips".
