26 Jan – The 21st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards that took place this morning yesterday saw to "Birdman" taking home the top prize for the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award. Michael Keaton led the "Birdman" cast, with Emma Stone, Edward Norton and Zach Galifianakis whom went on to receive the top honours from the acting guild together.
Eddie Redmayne who played Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything", won the most Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, while the most Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role award fell into the hands of Juliana Moore who played the role of Alice Howland in "Still Alice." The most outstanding performance for an actor and actress in supporting roles, went to J.K. Simmons for his role in "Whiplash" and Patricia Arquette for the movie "Boyhood", respectively.
