21 Sep – Previously, we have news of Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray joining the cast of the female-led "Ghostbusters" reboot. Now, it is confirmed that another original actor will also be appearing in the upcoming movie.
Ernie Hudson, who played Winston Zeddemore in the first two "Ghostbusters" movies, was spotted on the set along with the main cast on the last day of filming, based on photographs by ComingSoon.net.
The three original stars of the supernatural comedy movie series will be appearing in cameo roles, though no details of their respective parts were revealed. However, it is possible that Murray will not be reprising his Dr. Peter Venkman role as The Independent reports that the actor may be playing a new character named Martin Heis.

The all-female 2016 reboot sees Melissa McCarthy (playing Abby Yates), Kristen Wiig (Erin Gilbert), Leslie Jones (Patty Tolan) and Kate McKinnon (Jillian Holtzman) as the four ghostbusters in place of Aykroyd, Murray, Hudson and the late Harold Ramis, who created the franchise with Aykroyd back in the '80s.
The reboot cast also includes Chris Hemsworth as the secretary, Michael K. Williams as Hawkins, Matt Walsh as Rourke and Neil Casey as the villain, as well as Andy Garcia who will play the Mayor of New York City.

The first "Ghostbusters" was released in 1984. Despite some of the main cast's reluctance, a sequel soon followed in 1989 due to the first movie's success.
There are talks of an all-male reboot starring Channing Tatum to hit the big screen sometime in the near future but have yet to be confirmed. In the meantime fans will have the female-driven reboot, which will be the third movie in the franchise, to look forward to.
"Ghostbusters" hits theatres in July 2016.
