8 Oct – The greatest time of the year for horror movie fans is back! Golden Village will once again be celebrating Halloween by holding its annual horror movie marathon – Horrorthon. This year, Horrorthon will bring a total of three movies to be screened at four locations over two weekends. The movies are M Night Shyamalan's "The Visit", Guillermo del Toro's "Crimson Peak", and Rob Letterman's "Goosebumps". The three spooky movies will be screened at the following locations: • GV Jurong Point, 23 October (Friday) • GV Tampines, 24 October (Saturday) • GV Suntec, 30 October (Friday) • GV Yishun, 31 October (Saturday) Schedule of the screenings can be obtained at GV's official website. Tickets are priced at SGD42 each, which is inclusive of one Nachos, one 64oz Popcorn and one 22oz Coke. "The Visit" follows two children who visit their grandparents for the first time and realise the sweet elderly couple is hiding something sinister. "Crimson Peak" tells of an aspiring author who marries a mysterious man and is swept away to his remote – and haunted – gothic mansion. In "Goosebumps", Zach Cooper finds himself in trouble when he accidentally releases the monsters and ghosts that are locked in the "Goosebumps" book series.
