30 Mar – Having played the character Wolverine for almost two decades, "X-Men" star Hugh Jackman has dropped a hint that his upcoming movie might be his last.

The Wolverine actor recently made a cryptic post on his official Instagram account, uploading only a picture of his hands – signature claw in one – along with the caption: "WOLVERINE ...ONE LAST TIME. HJ"

Jackman probably thinks it is time for him to clip his claws, so to speak, as he has been portraying the mutant hero role since 2000's "X-Men". He has since appeared in several more "X-Men" movies, including 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and 2013's "The Wolverine".

Jackman was last seen as Wolverine in last year's "X-Men: Days Of Future Past", which made over USD748 million worldwide. It collected USD6.6 million in Malaysia and USD7.4 million in Singapore. There are no words yet whether Jackman will be reprising the role in next year's "X-Men: Apocalypse".

Jackman's last appearance as his iconic "X-Men" character may be in the upcoming "Wolverine 3" in 2017.
