Lady Gaga will perform at upcoming Oscars

15 Feb – Sources have confirmed that "Bad Romance" singer Lady Gaga has joined the lineup of stars to perform at the Oscars this coming Sunday. This also means that everyone will be expecting to see what costume Gaga will be wearing for the event.

According to Time, Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced on Twitter that the pop singer will be sharing the stage with Jack Black, Anna Kendrick and Jennifer Hudson at the 87th Oscars.

The star-studded lineup will be preparing their special tribute performances which will not be announced until the event day itself.

"Lady Gaga is a once in a lifetime artist who's musical evolution keeps growing. We are proud to have her perform on the Oscars for the very first time," Zadan and Meron said in a statement.

Since 2008, Lady Gaga has sold a total of 27 million albums and 130 million singles. The "Bad Romance" singer has also won her 6th award at the Grammys for having the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for "Cheek To Cheek", which was a collaboration with Tony Bennett back in 2014.

The 87th Academy Awards ceremony will be held on the 22 February, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre, Hollywood.
