21 Sep – The Love & Pride Film Festival returns for its seventh edition this year at selected Golden Village multiplexes. This year's opening film, "Baby Steps", comes from the producers of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". The Taiwan-US co-production is written and directed by the lead actor himself, Barney Cheng, who will be making an appearance at the movie's Gala Premiere on 9 October. "Baby Steps" follows a Taiwanese-American man, Danny, and his boyfriend Tate, whose journey to having a baby becomes complicated when his mother meddles with every aspect of the process. Other movies that will also be shown at the film festival are "The Imitation Game", "Saint Laurent" and exclusive titles like "Summer", "The Way He Looks" and "Stonewall". Roland Emmerich's first gay feature film, "Stonewall", which tells the tale of Danny Winters who finds love in New York amidst the 1969 Stonewall Riots, will be the closing film for the festival. The 7th Love & Pride Film Festival takes place at GV Suntec City and GV Grand, Great World City from 9 to 18 October 2015. Visit GV website for schedule and ticketing details.
