Donnie Yen to leave handprint in Hollywood

Donnie Yen is set to be seen next in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story".

17 Nov – It was reported that Donnie Yen would become the next Chinese martial arts actor to leave his handprint at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.

As reported on On CC, the "Ip Man" star, who heard the news recently, stated that he feels honoured with the recognition.

"I want to thank everybody who has appreciated my work in the film industry. I hope to do more for China," he added.

Aside from Donnie, another star who left his mark was Jackie Chan, who had his handprint ceremony in 1997, and again in 2013.

In the meantime, the actor continues to film more movies. His new Hollywood movie, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", will be released in December and he will also begin promoting his other action movie, "xXx: Return of Xander Cage", in January.
