14 Nov – Warner Bros.' "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" had been earlier confirmed to be a five part movie series, but now screenwriter and "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling has revealed that movies will cover a story arc spanning 19 years. The expansion was confirmed after Rowling spoke to Variety at the New York premiere of the film and said, "There came a point in the drafting of the story where I said to [director] David [Yates], "You know David, this feels like five movies and I think I'm pretty certain about that." "It's ambitious to tell it in five, to be honest, because we're spanning 19 years, but I can see an arc to five so that's how it happened," added Rowling. The novelist also took the time to reveal that some "Harry Potter" characters will be seen in the movie much to the excitement of fans. Due to the story arc, the timeline will of the "Fantastic Beasts" universe starts in 1926 and will end in 1945. This would allow the introduction of two major characters from the "Harry Potter" series namely Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald, where the latter will be played by Hollywood A-lister Johnny Depp. According to Comicbooks.com, the two will be in their 40s during this time, where Grindelwald goes on to become the darkest wizard of all-time. Since it has been confirmed that these two characters will play a significant role in the franchise, it is safe to assume that audiences can see the fight between Dumbledore and Grindelwald which according to the "Harry Potter" series, took place somewhere in 1945. Fans only have to wait a little longer to see a younger Dumbledore and Grindelwald as it has also been confirmed that they are indeed appearing in the next sequel. It is also heavily rumoured that the infamous Lord Voldemort will appear as Tom Riddle, as in the year 1945 he-who-shall-not-be-named graduated from Hogwarts and was already on his way to becoming an arch nemesis to Harry Potter. By the looks of it, "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them" will certainly satisfy Potter fans and also ordinary moviegoers for several more years to come. "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them" opens nationwide in cinemas on 17 November with a stellar cast; Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Collin Farrell as Percival Graves and Ezra Miller as Credence among others.
