1 Mar – Rumours are rife that Sylvester Stallone is set to direct a spin-off of the hit action movie, "The Expendables", this time featuring all-female action stars. According to CRI News, it was rumoured that among the stars to be joining the cast is Chinese actress Li Bingbing, and that the "Transformers: Age of Extinction" star is currently in negotiations with the production. Li reportedly was offered a role in the third instalment of the previous "Expendables", but had to decline the offer due to her obligation to "Resident Evil: Retribution", in which she reprised her role as Ada Wong. Meanwhile, it was reported that actresses Naomi Watts and Kate Beckinsale will also star in the new movie.
