Priyanka Chopra to play villain in "Baywatch" remake


Actress Priyanka Chopra is set to play the villain in the upcoming 2017 remake.

17 Feb – Bollywood star and now Hollywood star, Priyanka Chopra has signed on to star in the upcoming "Baywatch" film based on the 1990s TV-series.

She has been casted as Victoria Leeds, who will be the antagonist of the film.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson welcomed the Indian beauty with an Instagram video, just as he did when Kelly Rohrbach joined the set.

The 33-year-old "Bajirao Mastani" star also shared the video to her own Twitter and Instagram page, adding, "Being Bad is what I do best!!! U better watch out!!"

Chopra, an emerging international star, broke into Hollywood when she landed the role of FBI trainee Alex Parrish in ABC's TV series, "Quantico".

The actress, model and singer will join Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera and Rohrbach on the set of 'Baywatch" when it begins filming next month.

Directed by Seth Gordon, "Baywatch" is set for release on May 2017.
