4 Oct – The latest Golden Village location is set to open this Friday but before that, all GV Movie Club members are invited to attend its open house tomorrow. Taking place on 5 October at the new GV Paya Lebar located at SingPost Centre, members can catch a screening of 15 selected movies at only SGD2.50 per ticket along with a complimentary popcorn for each transaction. Some of the movies that are included in the open house promotion are "Blade Runner 2049", "Stronger", "Mother!", "It", "Kingsman: The Golden Circle", "Paradox", "The Foreigner", "Spider-Man:Homecoming", and "Doraemon The Movie: Nobita's Great Adventure In The Antartic Kachi Kochi". Officially opening for business starting 6 October, the 8-screen GV Paya Lebar is touted as Singapore's first all laser projector cinema as all its halls are equipped with award-winning smart laser projectors. Not only that, it is also currently the only GV location to offer the 58-seater Duo Deluxe hall, which features spacious twin leatherette seats.
