5 Oct – Chris Evans has never hid the fact that he is going to exit the MCU after his contract as Captain America is up, and looks like he's keeping good with that promise based on his latest Twitter update. "Officially wrapped on "Avengers 4". It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor," Evans tweeted. "To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful." Though fans have been expecting this, since talks of him leaving the role have been circulating since the filming of 2015's "Avengers: Age of Ultron", it was still a blow to hear that Cap will no longer be portrayed by the 37-year-old. News of his expected departure resurfaced earlier this year when the actor told The New York Times, "You want to get off the train before they push you off", as he stated that he has no plans to return to the MCU after "Avengers 4".
